Neat freak? - A little bit but mostly in the kitchen and living room. Bedroom can be a mess at times.

Can someone tell me, what the fuck is the difference between Dreamwidth and Live Journal.
From what I can see, the design is almost identical, your friends are not called "friends", they are called "subscribers" and you have "access" to them. Sounds all so clinic and prentious if you ask me...
Plus, if you are just going to post inane crap like you do on here, why both when you can do it on here!?

On May 11th, I posted the following:
I have a iBook G4 12inch Spece Here which I would like to sell. There are a couple of things wrong with it.
-The battery seems to go quickly. It should be three hours life but it feels more like two. When full it says 94% which I don’t think is a good thing.
-The airport card is dead. If I turn it on, I kernel panic instantly and have to shut down. Till there is a replacement airport card, it will need to be plugged in to use the net.
-Turning it on is an issue. Sometimes, when I turn the machine on, nothing happens. I can hear it ticking slightly but no light and no little Apple symbol. I have to turn it on and off again to get it to “turn over”. 60% of the time though, it turns on like normal. I have been informed that a possible fix for this problem is to reinstall OSX. I have the disc somewhere and I am going to do this reinstall this week and see if it rememdies the problem.
Other than that, it works beautifully. With all that, I have a friend that is willing to buy it for £150.00. Now, tell me, am I short changing myself or am I ripping him off?
Most of the comments from that post, a few people said it would be a reasonable amount to offer to sell such a machine.
The unfortunate thing is that after coming around last night to have a look at it, he decided that he didn't want to buy it.
Shit.
So, I am putting it out there to you lot first. Would any of you be interested in taking it off my hands or know anyone that would? With it's faults, it could be sold for just parts but it does to an extent work and if I wasnt't absolutely desperate for the money, I probably wouldn't be selling it but I was kinda banking on that cash and I need to sell it.
Please feel free to repost this on your journals etc and or let me know if you are interested. I will even throw in a laptop bag -click here for a pic but the one I have is Orange and Black I have for this for the price. The bag is in perfect condition as I have barely used it.
If I don't get any interest by Sunday, I will be listing it on Ebay which I will probably post a link to here anyway.

You can tell that noone posts to LJ anymore. I have posts from yesterday afternoon on the first page of my friends list.
It's weird, about six years I have been using LJ and I have to say, without it, my social life wouldn't be the same. I wouldn't have met the people I have met and kept in touch with and hung out with. I have managed to get through some rough times in my life by baring my soul and just getting lost in other open souls that have been bared before me.
Now, everyone is all about summing up their day in 140 characters and on facebook statuses. Is it that perhaps the people that I have grown with on this thing have simply gotten older and too busy to keep up this unique way of being in touch with people?
It just seems that something that has been a really big part of my life in general can be fading like it is just seems so sad.

Right, so much to update but not just yet. I will do this later but know that I moved into the new place, a lot less stressed and hopefully with a few more things to happen, all will be sorted! Will go into more later as I said.
First - i have to ask - does anyone have a PS2 they don't want or use anymore? I would be willing to buy it for a reasonable price. I was considering getting one from a second hand shop or Ebay but I thought I would ask online peeps first.
The one I was using at my old place was my brother's as I bought it for him as a birthday present. Now, I don't have one and I am missing Guitar Hero! :-(

Thanks to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) nils, I was fortunate enough to see Skunk Anansie again this past Friday night. It was EVEN better than the previous night as the crowd was a lot more up for it in regards to moshing about and having a bit of a dance. I again lost my shit and went mental as soon as they got on the stage and sang every song like I did years ago. Apparently, I lost my shit so much on Thursday night that a couple of people came up to me on Friday night, including the singer of the band that opened up the shows, telling me how cool it was to see someone going to mental to a band. Though this was nice, it was scarey to think that I probably looked like a complete mental!
If there is only one complaint, it's that they did the same set on both nights. I was kinda hoping they would change it up a bit. I am doing this from memory so I might have the order mixed up but from what I remember, these are the songs they played.
